On the occasion of the Tabodwe Full Moon Day, which fell on February 1, 2026, employees of Mya Ayer Group organized a meritorious tree-planting festival and voluntary service activity at Maha Wihara Monastery in Hlegu Township, Yangon Region.
The event took place around the land area where the “Htee Phyu Yone Thudhamma Hall” offering hall is currently under construction. Once completed, the hall will be able to accommodate simultaneous alms offerings to more than 2,000 monks.
With the intention that visiting monks and donors will be protected from heat and be able to enjoy natural shade and fresh air allowing them to peacefully perform meritorious deeds within the religious compound that Mya Ayer family members actively participated in planting trees around six key areas surrounding the offering hall. These included the two main water pathways (entrance and exit), the ceremonial pavilion, the Padumma lotus pond, the flower garden, and the surrounding walkways.
A total of 1,745 trees representing 37 different species were planted. These included fruit trees, large shade trees, flowering plants, and ornamental foliage plants.Through this tree-planting initiative, the company aims to enhance greenery, contribute to climate change mitigation, protect the natural ecosystem, and leave a lasting legacy within the religious grounds. The project reflects a long-term vision to ensure a lush environment and edible fruits for future generations as a valuable heritage.
Mya Ayer Group is committed not only to achieving greater business success but also to consistently carrying out social welfare initiatives and religious meritorious activities with dedication and responsibility.

It pleases us that while implementing Man-Aung Ratana Project, Our Company managed to help with local community developments all in one go, by repairing a lake for rain water storage and elevated a 500 feet road to local jetty which is difficult to access during rainy season for the benefits of nearby Zee Taw village.
